MEMBERSHIP AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
There is an Easy Membership Policy, which is good for the year of 2016 only(January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016). The Membership Fee of $5.00 will be payed in advance through this website or the Food Donation will be collected at your first workshop of the Membership Year. If your first workshop is cancelled by you the fee will be deducted from any credit received. We strongly believe in community, and your membership fee is waived when you bring Non Perishable Food for donation that we pass on to Charity(Homeless), to your first workshop. This is just a One time per year Membership Fee for 2016 (January 1 through December 31, 2016 year only), we DO NOT have monthly membership fees. Your membership will expire at the end of 2016 and you will need to register again if you wish to take workshops in future years.
Our Training Services are by Membership Only and your utilization of our services begins when you become a Member with us or by making a payment through the website.
You acknowledge that workshops are NOT an audition, and that any scene you bring in to perform is from a piece that has already aired or been publicly released, and in no way a means of auditioning or attempting to procure employment. “This seminar or class is for educational purposes only (as are all paid classes/ workshops/showcases in the State of California) and will not secure or provide opportunity for employment in the field or representation by and agent.” You also acknowledge that you release Actors Artistry of all liability if you have chosen to mislead our staff, or ignore our rules regarding scene selection and any other policies we have set in place. Any Actor under 18 years of Age must have a parent or Guardian present with them for the duration of the workshop.
Our Membership is open to anyone, but we reserve the right to terminate or restrict membership at any time. Reasons you may be terminated include being rude to our Staff or Guests(you should always treat our Staff as you would a Casting Director or other Guest) and violating our Policies.
The Membership may be cancelled following the 10 day Cancellation Policy outlined in LABOR CODE 1703.
No refunds will be issued because you do not want to continue with a membership and after the 10 day cancellation period outlined below in Labor Code 1703.
We have limited space in each workshop. When you make a purchase we are holding a Space in a Class/Workshop that could be given to another Actor, as well as our costs of administrative time to add you to the lists and schedule and process your request. We have to have accurate counts of expected Actors attending. When you don’t show or don’t give proper notice it is the same as buying a space to an Event(For Example a Concert) and Not Showing up.
There is a strict 48 hour cancellation policy on any one day Casting Director workshop purchased in addition to your membership. You must cancel 48 hours in advance, and if you do, you will receive a credit which must be used within 6 Months from the Date of purchase. If it is within 48 hours of the workshop, you will only receive a credit for a future workshop if the spot is filled by another paid actor when there is a wait list. There is a strict 72 hour cancellation policy on any one day Agent/Manager workshop purchased in addition to your membership for Store Credit Only. You must cancel 72 hours in advance, and if you do, you will receive a credit which must be used within 6 Months from the Date of purchase. Due to the difficulty in organizing Agent/Manager workshops, cancellations will not be excepted for Agent/Manager Events for any reason if not received 72 hours prior to the event. Cancellations of one day workshops may be made by Emailing ActorsArtistry@gmail.com.
Events such as the Demo Reel Intensive or Web Series Courses, or Special Guests have Cancellation policies in addition to your membership listed on their Event Page. You acknowledge that you will not ask for a refund for a cancellation within 48 hours of a Casting Director workshop,72 hours on Agent/Manager Workshop or a refund on previously purchased, workshops, or classes, intensives or events and that you understand that all purchases that are canceled following the proper cancellation policies, will be exchanged for store credit only at Actor’s Artistry. We do not issue refunds for rescheduled classes, workshops, or seminars. They may be canceled following the Normal Cancellation policies of One day Workshops and according to policies for each particular event for store credit only.
Multiple Agent/Manager Events:
Due to Scheduling and unforeseen circumstances, if a guest cannot attend we reserve the right to try and replace them with another guest, we will update the website with current information if this happens. If a guest cancels last minute and we do not have time to replace them, they or a replacement will be rescheduled. You will receive a prorated credit good for another Agent/Manager Event, if you cannot attend a rescheduled date for genuine reasons. We do send out confirmation and reminder emails to our Guests as extra steps to ensure they will be there!
You acknowledge that all information is current as of when the industry professional is booked for the workshop, and that Actor’s Artistry are not responsible for industry professionals changing offices/projects.
IF you decide to cancel your membership for any reason, know that by canceling, you will not be allowed to rejoin Actors Artistry or any company affiliations we may have for at least a period of one year or with prior approval from us.
This MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT applies from the date you agree to these terms till the end of 2016, unless canceled by the Actor within this time. (please see our 10 day cancellation policy below).
Casting Director or Industry Guest referred to the original internet agreement purchase will be attending Actors Artistry (323-524-8360) ActorsArtistry@Gmail.com, Workshops are held at: 950 N. Cahuenga, Los Angeles, CA 90038. Mailing Address, 1825 N. Vermont #292534, Los Angeles, CA 90029.
Workshops and events take place between 7-7:30 during the weekday until 11pm or 9am-6pm starting and ending 3 -4 hours later during the weekends. The referred to Casting Director or Industry Guest may critique each Actors performance, answer questions, or provide feedback on the Actors Strengths and Weaknesses and what Actors can do to Improve their work. Teaching Styles differ with Different Guests and they choose how they want to use their time with you in the workshop.

ENGAGEMENTS FOR AN ARTIST. Actors Artistry IS PROHIBITED BY LAW FROM OFFERING OR ATTEMPTING TO OBTAIN AUDITIONS OR EMPLOYMENT FOR YOU. IT MAY ONLY PROVIDE YOU WITH TRAINING, COUNSELING, OR LISTING INFORMATION. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONSULT CHAPTER 4.5
(COMMENCING WITH SECTION 1701) OF PART 6 OF DIVISION 2 OF THE LABOR CODE. A DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTRACT BY THE TALENT SERVICE THAT IS NOT RESOLVED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ARTIST SHOULD BE REFERRED TO A LOCAL CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT OR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, AS APPROPRIATE.
YOU MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT AND OBTAIN A FULL REFUND, WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, IF NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS GIVEN, IN WRITING, WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE OR THE DATE ON WHICH YOU COMMENCE UTILIZING THE SERVICES UNDER THE CONTRACT, WHICHEVER IS LONGER. FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, BUSINESS DAYS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
TO CANCEL THIS CONTRACT, MAIL OR SEND BY EMAIL, A SIGNED AND DATED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION NOTICE OR ANY OTHER WRITTEN NOTICE OF CANCELLATION of your MEMBERSHIP TO, ACTORS ARTISTRY AT 1825 N. VERMONT #292534, Los Angeles, CA 90029 (323) 524-8360, ActorsArtistry.com, NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT OF 10 days after said receipt, or 10 days after the date of the beginning of utilization of service. SINCE PART THROUGH THE INTERNET, YOU MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT BY SENDING THE NOTIFICATION TO ActorsArtistry@GMAIL.COM.
You may NOT obtain a refund after the 10-day cancellation period described above (in paragraph 5 of section 1703 of Labor Code 4.5) has expired.

If you cancel your membership, all fees you have paid for your membership must be refunded to you within 10 business days after delivery of the cancellation notice to Actors Artistry.

THEY ARE NOT JOB INTERVIEWS OR AUDITIONS, AND ARE THEREFORE SOLELY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. The views, opinions, and advice expressed by any guest are theirs only, and do not necessarily reflect Actor’s Artistry views and policies in any way, shape, or form.
